Housewarming crackers at the Sivakasi price
A grihapravesam is set to a muhurtham, usually early in the morning. The family steps in together, milk is boiled in the new kitchen until it spills over for plenty, and the house has its first celebration.

Why crackers belong to Housewarming
It is short and exact. You need a few things at one moment in the morning, not a night of fireworks.
What to buy
A garland at the gate as the family walks in, a few single sound crackers as the milk boils over, and sparklers for the children who came. Keep the rest for the next festival.

Not sure how much to buy?
Most families land between ₹5,000 and ₹10,000 at our prices, which at the printed MRP would be several times that. Every ready pack clears the minimum order, so you can start from one and adjust.
Housewarming questions
What is lit at a grihapravesam?
A garland at the gate as the family enters, and sometimes a few single sounds when the milk boils over. Sparklers for the children round it off.
Will the order arrive in time?
Order a week ahead and it will. Parcels to Pondicherry take 1 to 2 days. The 5,000 rupees minimum is more than a housewarming uses, so most families keep the rest for Deepavali.
Can you deliver on the muhurtham day itself?
We aim for a few days before. Tell us the date when you order; transport arrival times are never exact, so earlier is safer.
